CITIZEN LEADERS' BIOGRAPHIES

CHAIR:

    Randal Hernandez is the Chief of Staff to Mayor Beverly O'Neil, City of Long Beach. Graduate of Leadership Southern California, (LSC) and a resident of Long Beach.

MEMBERS:

    Huibart 'Bart' Benjamins is the Office of the City Administrator, City of Los Angeles. LSC Graduate and resident of Long Beach.

    Michelle Garcia is an Account Executive with the Santa Ana Office of Southern California Edison. Michelle is a graduate of LSC and a member of the Los Angeles County Native American Commission. She resides in Long Beach.

    Hyepin Im is the Campaign Manager for the new California Science Center in Exposition Park. Hyepin is a resident of Bellflower and an LSC graduate.

    Sheila Irani is a Principal for Pathways Consulting, a governmental affairs consulting firm in Long Beach. Prior to forming Pathways, Sheila was a senior executive with Southern California Rideshare. She is a resident of Long Beach and an LSC graduate.

    Dan Cartagena is a member of the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency. He is a resident of Long Beach and works as a development and land use consultant in Long Beach.

    Kris Leathers is Director of Intergovernmental Relations for the City of Long Beach. Prior to joining the City, Kris served as an aide to U.S. Representative Steve Horn, (R-Long Beach) in his Washington D.C. office.

    Howard Chambers is the City Administrator for the City of Lakewood. He represents Lakewood Mayor Marc Titel on the Team. (Mayor Titel is a graduate of LSC)
